Dr. Laura is a Northern Virginia native, growing up in McLean, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from James Madison University, then continued down I-81 to Blacksburg, VA where she graduated with honors from the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Inova Fairfax Children’s Hospital and was selected to be chief resident. Diagnosed with an abnormal heart rhythm as a toddler, Dr. Laura’s personal experiences as a patient lead her to pursue a career in pediatric medicine. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, baking, watching college football and spending time with her husband and son.
